All our event tees are a women’s cut, not unisex. FITTED tee-shirts are tighter and more snug than regular women’s tees and run 1-2 sizes smaller. We recommended you ORDER 1-2 sizes LARGER than your regular tee shirt size! Regular tees are still women’s cut but are not as tight on the body.
Can I change my distance after I have registered?
Yes. When you register you will be given a personalized link to your Race Entry registration. There is a place there to make changes.
Do you offer refunds or exchanges?
We do not offer refunds for any reason. No exceptions. However we understand that “life happens” and sometimes plans change. If you would like to transfer your registration to another rider, please email email@example.com. The new rider will be given a free code to register with and the old rider’s registration will become invalid. All money transfer must take place between the buyer and seller. All rider transfers must be completed by July 30th.
Can someone else pick up my packet for me?
Yes. You must complete and sign a waiver and make a photocopy of your driver license and send it with the person picking up your packet. For legal reasons we CANNOT accept waivers signed for you by another person. Click HERE for the online waiver.
What if I can’t attend packet pick-up?
You can ask someone to pick up your packet for you (see rules above) or we do have emergency packet pick-up the morning of the event. If you do need to get your packet the morning of the event, please plan to arrive at the venue at least one hour prior to your start time to allow enough time to get your packet. Emergency packet pick up can be hectic and we thank you in advance for you patience and understanding.
What time should I arrive?
We recommend you arrive at least 30-45 minutes before your start time (unless you are also picking up your packet then arrive at least one hour before your start time). This year parking is not as close to the venue as it has been in the past so you will want to allow plenty of time to park and get to the start line so you can fill your water bottles, pump your tires, use the bathroom, etc.
What should I bring with me?
A helmet (mandatory), spare tire, CO2 cartridge, water bottle (we recommend two for the 50 and 75 mile ride), lunch wrist band or ticket, bike helmet number, and bib number. After the ride, you may want a change of clothes (including shoes) and credit card/cash if you plan to do some fun shopping with your girlfriends! Remember parking is not as close to the venue as it has been in years past, but is still very accessible, so please plan accordingly.
Can I leave earlier than my start time?
NO! Start times are calculated for each course length and take into account riders of every ability – this is our job, we know what we’re doing! Our start times also correspond with the times our on course support, feed zones and finish line celebration (lunch) will be open and available to the riders. Thank you for starting at your designated time.
Where do I park?
Parking this year is ample but not all in one location, as it has been in years past. Parking this year is also not quite as close to the venue. Please review the parking maps that will be sent out prior to the event and plant accordingly. In exchange for any perceived inconvenience with parking this year, the safely of our participants is our number one priority and the new start/finish line is much easier and safer for everyone. Parking signs will direct you and parking attendants will be there to help you on event day.
Will the roads be closed?
Roads will not be closed. You will be riding on roads with other vehicles and must obey all traffic laws, signs and signals. Remember the law is that cyclists may ride no more than two abreast but along the course we recommend you ride single file. Please do your part by staying to the far right side of the road and staying alert and attentive to other vehicles in the area.
Can I exchange my shirt for a different size?
Yes. We want you to love your shirt and wear it! You will be given the size shirt you ordered at packet pick-up, but if your shirt does not fit, you may exchange it for a different size at Wildflower Central AFTER the ride is over. Remember, fitted shirts run 1-2 sizes small (FOR REAL!). Save yourself the hassle and order accordingly.
Will there be clothing drops at the feed zones?
Yes. Clothing drops will be available at Round Valley Golf Course and East Canyon. We will have plastic bags and stickers for you to write your bib numbers on. All clothing will be dropped off at the finish line and it is your responsibility to pick it up before you leave.
What if I need help during the ride?
No worries! We’ve got you covered. There will be plenty of support along the course to help with flat tires, worn out legs, or medical issues. Please pull off to the right side of the road and flag down a SAG (Support and Gear) vehicle marked with a Wildflower Pedalfest magnet/sign on their car door or window. There will also be a bike mechanic and medical personnel at each feed zone and the start/finish. If you are experiencing or notice an emergency, please call 911.
Can my family or friends join me at the event?
Yes. We invite family members and friends to cheer you on at the finish line and celebrate your accomplishment with you. There will be expo booths and food for purchase. Please do not have supporters drive or ride the course. If you have family members or friends who would like to volunteer at one of our feed zones or at the finish line please contact us firstname.lastname@example.org. It’s the perfect way for your cheerleaders to support you and we would love their help!
Will someone be there to take pictures?
Yes! We know you have anticipated and trained hard for this day. We want you to be able to share your memories and experience with others. We will have photographers at the start line and at the top of the Wildflower Hill Climb. All photos will be FREE to participants.
What do I need to know about the Wildflower Hill Climb?
The Wildflower Hill Climb is a timed 5.5 mile tough hill climb which takes place at mile 36 during the 75 mile Mountain Bluebell course. It begins just past East Canyon Resort and ends at the top of Big Mountain where Morgan County meets Salt Lake County. It averages 5-6% with one false summit. The start and end of the climb will be well marked. You will need to spread out before the start of the climb and call out your bib number as you pass the start line to insure your time will be recorded. All women who complete the Wildflower Hill Climb will have their photo taken at the top overlooking the breath-taking Salt Lake Valley. CASH PRIZES will be given to the top three overall ($200, $100, $75) and age-group winners ($50)! This is definitely a climb you will want to train for!
